Insanity Overdrive
Then weeks passed again. There was an ecstatic rush for me to emit some lyrical murmurs. I have just been endlessly reading and listening to other peoples thoughts lately and I continuously ignore that evil voice ranting in my head telling me "Scream as loud as you can now or you'll be crazy in your deathbed you dirtbag!!!" I think my sanity will continue to deteriorate but I wouldn't mind compromising it with an idea that would pop out and probably make the world cringe for a second, figuratively speaking that is.
I have not been writing poetries for sometime now. That dusty briefcase, has not been bulging out with anything new but that stash of notes from ancient history. I kinda have been enjoying other people's entries in their blogs and just keep on lurking like a mad stalker trying to get a view on their what seem to be enjoyable existence, but not in a disgusting sort of way. I think I'm called a fan or something.
I've been an avid visitor of an up and coming (she's actually famous already) stylist and rock fashion aficionado NiƱa Sandejas lj. I've been wishing to get a hand of that Pepe Smith shirt she's making I think it's cool and wicked on how her parody can withstand a branding significance on its own because of her personal brilliant association with both fashion and music. I just have to think of a brilliant pitch for her to give me or sell me one of it. Think, think, think!
Also been reading a lot of Ala Paredes, Jim Paredes, Jason Mraz, and a whole lot more. I think I'm beginning to be a geek in my own right. Considering that I have been wearing glasses now because of the daily exposure to computer radiation and what have you, come to think of it I do look like a geek now.
I think I'll go check out Gerry Alanguilan's new creation, Elmer. I found out about him through his initial comic installment Wasted. Personally, I think it was a great comfort for an aching soul and I love this guy ever since. To bad I missed it when he was at the MegaMall to personally sell copies of Elmer series first installment. I had a glimpse of it in his website and I can wait to get a copy. I don't mind patronizing consumerism when I'm to spend money with materials that feeds my thoughts. I don't mind it at all.
